Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 2026 • Last Reviewed: October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Thiveo Tools (accessible at tools.thiveo.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, please discontinue using the service.

2. Description of Free Services

Thiveo Tools provides free, client-side digital productivity utilities including image compression, file format conversion, and JSON formatting/validation. The tools execute directly within your web browser. Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without fees or subscription requirements.

3. User Responsibilities & Backup Requirement

Because lossy image compression and format conversions are irreversible digital operations:

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining uncompressed, original backups of all source files and data before performing operations on Thiveo Tools.
  • You verify that any files or code you process do not violate applicable laws, copyright regulations, or third-party intellectual property rights.

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of all images, documents, and data processed using Thiveo Tools. Because processing occurs entirely client-side, Thiveo acquires no rights, licenses, or title to your files.

Platform Rights: All rights, titles, and interests in the Thiveo Tools interface, design system, source code, logos, and brand assets remain the exclusive property of Thiveo.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our web servers or hosting networks, nor attempt unauthorized access through automated scripts or vulnerability scanning.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Thiveo and its affiliates, contributors, and operators shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or unintended compression artifacts—arising from your use of or inability to use the tools.

7. Changes and Questions

We reserve the right to modify these terms as tools evolve. Ongoing use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms. If you have questions concerning these terms, contact us at contact@thiveo.com.
