How Our Browser-Side Image Compressor Works

True In-Memory Encoding

Unlike conventional web compressors that transfer your sensitive photos to third-party cloud servers, Thiveo Tools leverages modern browser standards including createImageBitmap, HTMLCanvasElement, and canvas.toBlob. Your files exist only in your browser's ephemeral RAM.

Honest Byte Calculations

We measure every byte before and after encoding using ((original - output) / original) * 100. If an image is already optimized and gains bytes, we show the honest increase. We never fake numbers or use simulated reductions.

Transparency Advisory: Converting transparent PNG images to JPEG will fill transparent pixels with solid white, as the JPEG specification does not support alpha channels. To preserve transparency, keep the format as WebP or PNG.
